This recording was rebuilt from source material created for a 2021 mixed-media installation in Los Angeles that was vandalized twice during construction and ultimately abandoned. The original project, "Conformity Principles I-IV" involved 15-foot long sheets of steel, stained cinderblock, barbed piano wire, locomotive samples and the voice of Vacek's son, Maks. In revisiting and reassembling the pre-recorded elements, Vacek added a sparse string arrangement, leaving the listener awash in a state of suspension.
